2025 marks the 15-year anniversary of NRW Holdings establishing Action Drill & Blast (ADB) as a business. On 4 January 2010, their first employee commenced working with ADB, then known as NRW Drill & Blast. On 17 June the same year, they were officially named Action Drill & Blast.
The team got straight to work – the very first project ADB was mobilised onto was Western Turner Syncline in February 2010, adding RGP5 Chichester deviation as their second project in April. By the end of year one, ADB had 53 employees.
Since that year, both NRW and ADB have grown to become nationally recognised brands, with ADB’s fleets operating on some of the biggest mines across Australia.
It has been the hard work of their people that has helped shape Action Drill & Blast into the business it is today. We’re proud to have them a part of the NRW Holdings Group.
