NRW PREFERRED FOR $300M DALGARANGA GOLD PROJECT

NRW is delighted that the Company has been selected by Gascoyne Resources as preferred mining contractor for the Dalgaranga Gold Project.

The six-year (72 month) contract, award of which is subject to final terms and conditions, is for production mining services including drilling, blasting, load and haul.

The estimated contract value is circa $300M.

Works are expected to commence in February 2018, employing 200 personnel at its peak.

NRW Holdings’ subsidiary, Action Drill & Blast, will be carrying out the drill and blast portion of the contract.

NRW’s CEO and Managing Director Jules Pemberton said of the award: “NRW has been involved with the Gascoyne team for some time through the early project studies, and we look forward to working with Gascoyne on this exciting new major gold mine development. This project will expand NRW’s current commodity base into WA’s robust gold sector.

Commenting on the selection of NRW, Gascoyne’s Managing Director Mike Dunbar said: “We are very pleased to have attracted NRW to our project. NRW is a highly respected Mining Contractor, with the mining experience required for the project with all key personnel and equipment available now, ensuring that we will be able to commence mining in March 2018 in accordance with the development plan.
