PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Solomon Kings Valley TSF1 Wall Raise project is located 60km north of Tom Price in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

NRW was awarded the contract as a Joint Venture with Eastern Guruma and Wirlu-Murra JV (EGWME JV).

NRW have a strong relationship with Eastern Guruma having successfully completed numerous projects including, Western Turner and Nammuldi below Water Table bulk earthworks together.

CONTRACT SUMMARY
NRW EGMWE JV have been appointed to construct the installation of piping and decant tower, as well as the wall raise earthworks.

The scope of earthworks includes:

2,067,648cm borrow to fill
20,000cm cut to fill
5,500cm drill and blast
119,313sm foundation preparation

The project employed 108 workers at its peak, 92 of which were direct employees of the NRW EGWME JV.

The contract award marked NRW’s thirteenth project with Fortescue and is a testament to the strength of the relationship.
