PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Bootu Creek contract mining operation involved the mining of 24 million bcm of material.

NRW was responsible for drill and blast, load and haul and crusher feed.

The Project fleet included: 1 x 250T Excavator, 2 x 190T Excavators, 1 x D11 Dozer, 2 x D10 Dozers, 2 x 16 Graders, 1 x 777 Watertruck, 2 x 775 watertrucks, 12 x 777 Dumptrucks, 6 x 785 Dumptrucks and 2 x 988 Loaders.

Peak manning on the project reached 190 people with approximately 1.4 million bcm moved per month.

From July 2012 production targets had been met and the contract developed into wet-hire and maintain.
