We are pleased to announce that NRW Civil & Mining has been awarded three significant civil infrastructure contracts across Western Australia, with a combined value of over $250 million.
Award highlights:
Rio Tinto | West Angelas Sustaining Project (WASP) – Deposit H
- $175 million bulk earthworks contract
- Provides access to five new satellite pits
- Includes haul road construction, concrete overpass arch and associated infrastructure
- Peak workforce: ~220 personnel
- Work expected to commence in early 2026, with completion in 2027
Main Roads WA | Toodyay Road Reconstruction and Realignment
- Construct only contract, valued at $46 million
- Improves road safety and efficiency through realignment, intersection upgrades, overtaking lanes, shoulder widening, hazard treatments and signage improvements
- Works scheduled to commence early 2026
Pilbara Ports | Dampier Link Bridge (Stage 2, JV with Brady Marine & Civil)
- 50:50 joint venture with Brady Marine and Civil, valued at $49 million
- Design and construction of a new wharf structure that will create a continuous wharf between the refurbished Dampier Cargo Wharf and the new Dampier bulk handling facility
- Design and procurement: Early 2026, project duration ~12 months
