In March 2023, NRW Holdings successfully completed the acquisition of OFI, an industry leader in electrical engineering innovation and integration. This acquisition added to the capabilities of the Minerals, Energy & Technologies pillar and allowed NRW to enter new markets, such as the Defence sector.

NRW was awarded a contract for the Bunbury Outer Ring Road project, as part of the Southwest Connex Consortium (comprising Acciona, NRW Contracting, MACA Civil, AECOM and Aurecon), in October 2020.

NRW Holdings successfully completed the acquisition of Primero Group Limited in March 2021. This represents another significant milestone and delivers a value accretive step change in scale and diversity for NRW’s Minerals, Energy & Technologies pillar.

NRW Holdings acquired RCR Mining Technologies and RCR Heat Treatment. The business is complementary to NRW by providing incremental services, in line with our strategic objectives.

NRW Holdings acquired BGC Contracting, including the Mining, Construction and DIAB Engineering businesses. The expanded NRW Group offers broader capabilities and builds a stronger platform for all stakeholders.

  NRW was awarded a $176 million contract by BHP Iron Ore for bulk earthworks and concrete works. The project is located 120 kilometres north-west of Newman in the Pilbara, Western Australia.
