PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Altura Mining’s Pilgangoora Lithium Project is located in the Pilbara, Western Australia, approximately 90 kilometres south east of Port Hedland.
CONTRACT SUMMARY
NRW will be carrying out the contract for the mine development, drill and blast and mining services. Up to 35 people will be required to complete the project.
The scope of works included:
- Construction of the workshop, equipment laydown areas, earth work site infrastructure and mine haul roads
- Bulk earthworks for tailings dam
- Mining services include:
– Clear and grub
– Drill and blast
– Load and haul
– Five million BCM will be mined throughout the project’s five-year duration
Throughout this project NRW will utilise the following machinery and equipment:
- Hitachi 2500 Excavator
- Five Cat 785 Dump Trucks
- Hitachi 1200 Excavator
- Three Cat 777 Dump Trucks
- D10 Dozer
- Two 16G Graders
- Two 40 Tonne Artic Water Carts
